Based in Thomastown. The intern will gain practical experience in all aspects of professional car washing and valeting within a busy growing business. The intern will receive informal training dealing with customers, selling the business along with products and washing and valeting all kinds of vehicles. On completion the intern will have attained skills in professionally washing and valeting cars, jeeps and commercial vehicles. They will gain experience in dealing with customers on a daily basis.

Skills Requirements:
Must be hardworking and reliable.

Please Note:
This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.

The organisation will assign a mentor to support you during the Internship.

Based in Carlow Town environs. The intern will gain practical experience in many aspects of our business such as correct car lifting technique, removal/re-fitting of wheels, tyre fitting and balancing, safe puncture repair, 5 Point Safety Check, Customer Service: use of seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats etc, Environmental Compliance – correct disposal of engine oil, filters, tyres, batteries etc and Housekeeping.

The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following:
Sales and on-line product knowledge training, on Basic Health & Safety Procedures and on the job training for all practical work as outlined above. On completion the intern will have attained skills in selling/customer service, business awareness and practical skills, as well as work shadowing & learning from our experienced Team.

Skills Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with a positive work ethic, that are good listeners, who want to learn and have a valid drivers licence (for insurance purposes).
