The Role:
Conduct Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests (CVRT) on a wide range of vehicles, including Heavy Goods Vehicles (HCVs) and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).
Diagnose and identify any defects or safety issues during the CVRT inspection.
Prepare detailed inspection reports accurately and efficiently.
Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of all CVRT inspections and vehicle data.
Ensure compliance with all relevant CVRT regulations and guidelines.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the Service Department.
The Person:
Qualified CVRT Tester with a valid and up-to-date license.
Experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicle defects.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
Tachograph calibration experience.
Experience with a wide range of commercial vehicle brands.
Knowledge of current roadworthiness regulations and best practices.
