CVRT Tester – Part Time (HCV & LCV)

The Role:

• Conduct Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests (CVRT) on a wide range of vehicles, including Heavy Goods Vehicles (HCVs) and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).
• Diagnose and identify any defects or safety issues during the CVRT inspection.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports accurately and efficiently.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all CVRT inspections and vehicle data.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant CVRT regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the Service Department.

The Person:

• Qualified CVRT Tester with a valid and up-to-date license.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicle defects.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Tachograph calibration experience.
• Experience with a wide range of commercial vehicle brands.
• Knowledge of current roadworthiness regulations and best practices.
