SERVICE MANAGER FOR LOUGH OWEL MOTORS, MULLINGAR
We are currently looking for a service manager to join us at Lough Owel Motors.

Job Description

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy Peugeot Dealership while ensuring outstanding customer service, operational efficiency and profitability. Strong leadership, automotive industry knowledge and adaptability are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of technicians ensuring effective training.
Create and oversee workshop schedules to optimise productivity and ensure adherence to manufacture guidelines.
Monitor KPIs (service revenue, productivity, customer retention) and implement improvement strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, suppliers and other relevant contacts.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt, quality service and effective issue resolution.
Monitor equipment use and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with legal and manufacturer standards.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and implement improvements where required.
Promote associated products and services and implement a marketing plan to enable growth.
Efficiently maintain debtors account by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payment.
Oversee and maintain all warranty related administration and procedures in accordance with Peugeot policies.
Collaborate with parts, sales and accounts teams for a seamless customer experience.

Proven experience in a managerial role within aftersales or service environments.
Strong automotive industry knowledge and best practices.
Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in service management software and reporting tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
